The Book
This is not your triumphant former federal prosecutor memoir. I was not a triumph. I quit.

Being a prosecutor is traumatizing if you’re doing it right. We sing the last aria of what is a much longer tragedy. We close down the show of human dysfunction. We are what’s left when one human hurts another, when one human does not live within the bounds of our constructed society.
There is no triumph here. There are only different stages of grief.
